I've just finished with my first full week of classes! Unfortunately, due to a spike in Covid cases we are in online classes for the next two week, but hopefully we can return to in-person by the end of January. Classes went well, but already very busy. Brewer's bay beach is only a couple minute walk from campus and is beautiful! I'm want to go as much as possible. I've gone snorkeling there a few times and saw sea turtles, sting rays, and an octopus! It was so cool because I'm low key obsessed with octopi. My roommate hasn't moved in yet, but I think he will be coming soon. Over the weekend, a bunch of us went to the next island over, St. John, and did some hiking. We did an 11 miles hike all the way across the island, and got to see white donkeys on the trail along the way! We also checkout a Sugar and rum mill historical site which was super cool. This coming week I'm going to try to get involved at the marine research center and hopefully find some volunteer opportunities! See ya next week.
